Ellipse Capital Announces Equity Investment in J-B Weld Company

Ellipse Capital announced that it has completed an equity investment in J-B Weld Company (“J-B Weld”).  The transaction represents a partnership between Ellipse Capital, Boulder-based private equity firm Montis Capital, Chip Hanson, CEO, and other private investors.  Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

J-B Weld (www.jbweld.com) is the leading developer, marketer and distributor of the J-B Weld® brand of cold weld compounds and other specialty adhesive products.  Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, the company operates in multiple channels of the retail marketplace including national and regional automotive chains, home centers, hardware stores, mass merchants and farm stores.
